DEPUTY Minister for Information U Ye Tint inspected the Department of Information and Public Relations and Public Library in Kalaw Township of southern Shan State on 2 July.

Then, he inspected preparation to commission the Community Centre into service at Shan State IPRD office in Taunggyi and met the heads and staff of IPRD offices of Shan State and district, Nyaungshwe Township and Kyauktalongyi, engineers from MRTV re-transmission station and staff from Sub-Printing House.

In the afternoon, the deputy minister looked into the Hopong District IPRD and met with Chairman U Khun Ye Htwe of Pa-O Self-Administered Zone and district officials, heads of Pinlaung and Naungtayar IPRDs.

At the Loilem District IPRD, he met with officials of the Laikha, Mongkai and Kunhing townships and Panglong. After meeting with staff from Namsang and Mongnai townships, he inspected MRTV re-transmission station yesterday.

During the meetings, the deputy minister called for emphasizing information and awareness of state stability and future tasks, cooperation with relevant departments for widening the scope of students and youths and striving for successful implementation ofpublic relation tasks.
