A Monsoon sapling-planting ceremony 2022 of Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Inter­national Cooperation held at a plot beside the Ngalike Creek in the compound of the Minis­try of Foreign Affairs yesterday morning.

At the planting ceremo­ny, Union Minister U Wunna Maung Lwin of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Union Min­ister U Ko Ko Hlaing of the Ministry of International Coop­eration, the deputy minister for Foreign Affairs, the permanent secretary, the directors-gener­al, officials and staff planted a total of 552 saplings – 382 precious teak saplings, 120 sweet-smell coconut saplings and 50 Seintalone mango sap­lings – at the designated places as the commemoration of the 2022 rainy season tree-planting ceremony.

And then, the Union min­isters, the deputy minister, an permanent secretary and the directors-general viewed the activities and encouraged the staff who were planting sap­lings.
