AS Chairman of the State Ad­ministration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing on 22 April called for peace talks with ethnic armed organizations-EAOs to restore perpetual peace in the country and make an end to the armed conflicts, a peace delega­tion led by Vice-Chair-1 U Khun Htun Tin of the Pa-O National Liberation Organization-PNLO left Shan State (South) and ar­rived in Nay Pyi Taw on 15 June afternoon.

On arrival at the Horizon Lake View Resort, Nay Pyi Taw, the peace delegation was welcomed by members of the National Solidarity and Peace­making Negotiation Committee and ethnic people from the De­partment of Fine Arts, Ministry of Religious Affairs and Culture, departmental staff, and local people who want peace hold­ing miniature State flags and placards bearing, “Perpetual peace is the real aspiration of the people”, “Achieving peace is the true desire of all citizens”, “Let’s hold talks for peace in the Union”, “Only when the ethnic nationalities are in unity will stability, peace and tranquillity be achieved”.
