A total of 203 migrant workers—147 Myanmar migrant workers who went to work in Thailand and other 46 people— were transferred to Myanmar via Myanmar-Thailand Friendship Bridge No 2 on 4 June.

Thai authorities handed over 56 Myanmar migrant workers: 18 males and 38 females and 147 arrested Myanmar citizens: 101 males, and 46 females to Myanmar officials.

The migrant workers received COVID-19 test after being welcomed by Myanmar officials. The migrant workers will stay quarantine at the Wamlon Health Care Centre after testing for the COVID-19. Next, they will be sent back to their respective places, officials said.
