A BMW X3 car driven by U Tun San Aung crashed head-on to the concrete power pole at the corner of Moekaung Street and Maggin Street in 13 Ward of Yankin Township at 4:45 pm on 2 June.

None were injured but a pole of 400V power line damaged, causing to be a power outage.

Township Electricity Manager and Electrical Engineer and staff of the Yankin Township Electricity Manager’s Office under the supervision of the Yangon Electric Power Corporation temporarily switched off the power for the public safety while quickly re-installing power lines and replacing the damaged pole.

The power was restored at 7:55 pm.
