1. We have learned that the two-storey meeting hall of the Nawnghkio Township Education Office in Shan State (North) was reportedly bombed by a terrorist group called NUG and its affiliate PDF on 31 May 2022.

2. Three primary school heads were serious­ly injured in the blast. Four teachers and school heads, including the Assistant Town­ship Education Officer, and one civil servant were injured. They were taken to the military hospital in PyinOoLwin for treatment, and a headmistress died of her injuries.

3. The Myanmar Comedians Association (Cen­tral) strongly condemns this act of vandalism.
