IN collaboration with military doctors, health workers and civil society groups are working hard to provide health care services, and the COVID-19 vaccine is being transported by Tatmadaw aircraft and motor vehicle as per cold-chain standards.

COVID-19 vaccines —10 doses per Covishield bottle and 5 doses per Sinopharm and Myancopharm ampules — stored in central medical store depot of Public Health Department on Mindhamma Road, Mayangon Township were distributed to regions and states. A total of 24,790 Sinopharm ampules of the vaccines with 49,920 sets of the syringe to Myitkyin, Kachin State, 91 Covishield ampules of the vaccines, 1,313 Sinopharm ampules and 600 Myancopharm ampules with 19,200 sets of the syringe to Loikaw, Kayah State, 6,000 Sinopharm ampules and 2,440 Myancopharm ampules with 99,200 syringe to Kalay, Sagaing Region, 20,955 Sinopharm ampules and 4,718 Myancopharm ampules with 9,920 syringe to Thandwe, Rakhine State, 26,643 Sinopharm ampules with 83,200 syringe to Lashio, Shan State (north), 2,314 Covishield ampules of the vaccines, 13,393 Sinopharm ampules and 2,620 Myancopharm ampules with 83,200 sets of the syringe to Kengtung, Shan State (East), 2,090 Covishield ampules with 12,800 sets of the syringe to Paletwa, 760 Sinopharm ampules to Haka, 750 Sinopharm ampules with 12,800 syringes to Falam, 442 Sinopharm ampules with 6,400 syringes to Tiddim and 340 Sinopharm ampules with 6,400 syringes to Tonzang of Chin State were transported by Tatmadaw aircraft. Officials have received them and will distribute them to the relevant areas, authorities said.
