THE Police Force seized K825 million worth of 33 kilogrammesof heroin and arms in Patheingyi Township of Mandalay Region.

At 1:00 pm on 24 May, the Anti-Drug Police Force stopped and examined a Hino 6-wheeler driven by Thiha Aung heading from PyinOoLwin to Mandalay at the 16-mile joint checkpoint, according to the information. They captured K825 million worth of 33 kilogrammes of heroin and two M22 guns, two magazines and 100 bullets of M22 gun.

According to the examination, he admitted the seized heroin and arms to be carried from Shan State (South) to Mandalay Region.

He was prosecuted under the law, the investigation continued, the Myanmar Police Force stated.
