THE vice-chairman of the Yangon City Development Committee vice-mayor, accompanied by Secretary U Nyunt Pe, committee members and department heads visited No (2) Basic Education High School in Saya San Ward, Kaba Aye Pagoda Road, Bahan Township at 7 am yesterday.

The vice-mayor inspected the clean-up work being carried out by the departmental staff, community organizations and local people and gave necessary instructions. Next, the vice-mayor and party visited Dagon University on Min Ye Kyaw Swa Road, Dagon Myothit (East) Township.

He inspected drainage cleaning, garbage collection, and buswashes done by departmental staff, civil society organizations and local people.

The vice-mayor visited the Convocation Hall of the University and met faculty members and coordinated with relevant authorities on long-term clean and tidy needs inside and outside the campus. Then, the vice-mayor and party visited the University of Dental Medicine on Thanthuma Road in Thingangyun Township.

He inspected and coordinated where necessary. Departmental staff and community organizations and local people are clearing the drains and cutting and clearing branches and garbage inside the campus.
