A combined inspection team consisting of members of the Anti-Drug Police Force conducted inspections in Mohnyin Township at 5:45 pm on 22 March.

A search of a motorbike driven by Win Myint on the Mohnyin-Hopin Road near Ingyingon village turned up 1.21 kilogrammes of heroin. At 10 am the same day, a search of a motorbike driven by Ah Chu on the Monghsat-Mongtwan Road near Juulu village, Mepulone village-tract led to the seizure of 4,000 ecstasy tablets.

At 1 am on 21 March, a combined inspection team consisting of the Sagaing Region Police examined a house of Ma Aye Than in Myoma Ward, Khamti township and seized 0.1175 kilogramme of heroin and 1,260 ecstasy tablets.

At 5:45 pm the same day, a combined team consisting of members of the Anti-Drug Police Force searched a suspected Dongfeng 22-wheeler vehicle and found 4.18 kilogrammes of heroin with Htein Lin Aung.

They are prosecuted under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law, the Myanmar Police Force stated.
