THE combined inspection team consisting of Anti-Narcotics Task Force members inspected the suspect Aung Naing Oo (aka) Ei Thein in Sandawut Village of Myeik Township on 11 March and seized 3,000 stimulant tablets. Then, they inspected the motorcycle driven by Min Htike on the Myeik-Taninthayi Road of Tharame Village in Myeik Township and found 20,000 stimulant pills from him and other 40,000 tablets from Zeya Htet who was arrested at the Strand Road of Kangyi Ward in Myeik Township on the same day.

On 11 March, the police examined the motorcycle driven by Tun Thura (aka) Tuu Tuu on No (4) main road in Shwepyitha Township and seized 6,133 stimulant tablets. The anti-narcotic agents also inspected the motorcycle driven by Win Aung (aka) Ko Maung on the Aungban-Pinlaung Road in Kalaw Township and confiscated 10,000 stimulant pills on the same evening.

The anti-narcotics task force raided the Malkyanwe village in Monghsat Township on 10 March according to a tip-off and they seized 340,000 meth tablets, five kilogrammes of stimulant powder, four kilogrammes of Ice, 100 kilogrammes of caffeine, three pill-making machines and other related materials. The suspects were charged under the Anti-Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law.
