A ceremony to honour staff from 10 departments including the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Culture, who participated in the celebration of the Diamond Jubilee Union Day, and staff who participated in the Diamond Jubilee Union Day commemorative Youth and Literature Festival Entertainment Programme was held at the hall of Ministry yesterday.
Union Minister for Religious Affairs and Culture U Ko Ko thanked the staff who participated in the celebration of the Diamond Jubilee Union Day and expressed congratulatory words to those who helped.
“It can be seen that staff from the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Culture have fully discharged the duties and responsibilities of the Ministry in the spirit of good civil service and they all are worthy of praise,” the Union Minister said.
The Union Minister stressed officials to demonstrate the names of the staff from 10 departments including the Ministry from various states and regions, rector and staff of National University of Culture and Arts (Mandalay) who participated in and supervised the event, three retired musicians and staff from the Department of the Fine Arts who performed the Diamond Jubilee Union Youth and Literature Festival Entertainment Programme, faculty members of the National University of Culture and the Arts (Yangon) who supervised the ethnic cultural groups from various regions and states who Staff participated in Diamond Jubilee Union Day honoured came to attend the Diamond Jubilee Union Day respectively.
Certificates were presented to U Kyaw Thet Aung, Principal of Myanmar Computer Company L.td. (MCC) who assisted with LED background lighting at the Diamond Jubilee Union Day Dinner through the concerned persons. Next, U Aung San Oo, Rector of the National University of Culture and the Arts (Mandalay) thanked on behalf of the departments.
