TERRORISTS, who did not want the students to study peacefully, destroyed buildings inside the compound of the basic education high school branch. It is reported that a dormitory built for teachers was ablaze.

The incident took place at 8:50 pm on 12 February in Yan village, Saw Township, Magway Region. The fire was extinguished 20 minutes later and one bamboo house (worth about K300,000) was destroyed in the fire.

Security forces are working together to identify and take action against the terrorists who set fire to the teachers’ dormitory.
