THE Department of Rural Development in Naga Self-Administered Zone, is implementing 9 rural water projects in villages in Lahe, Leshi, and Nanyun townships from the second week of Seventy per cent of nine rural water projects completed in Naga region December 2021 and now it is 70 per cent completed.

The rural water projects are being implemented with a budget of K100.457 million (K78.937 from the Union Fund and K21.52 million from the Saging Region Government Fund) in the 2021-2022 mini-budget year in nine villages in the Naga Self-Administered Zone.

The Head of the District Department of Rural Development said the department is implementing annual priority projects to provide drinking water to the villages with water shortages, and the nine projects in Naga region will be beneficial for both animals and the people to have access to safe drinking water.
