THE Ministry of Commerce is facilitating the importation of anti-COVID-19 medical supplies through international airports, international seaports and land borders without delay.

Eight companies imported 121 tonnes of masks carried by 19 lorries from 1 to 5 February.

The importation of COVID-19 devices will be allowed in line with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), negotiated by relevant departments. Besides, the notification related to the import of medicines and related products has been made available on the Ministry of Commerce’s website www.commerce.gov.mm.
