CHAIRMAN of the Yangon City Development Committee Mayor U Bo Htay visited Mingaladon Township yesterday morning and inspected construction of new complexes at Yadanathiri Market on the detour, Akarit Ward, Mingaladon Township.

The Mayor also checked the systematic relocation of meat and fish shops in the new two storey market and the trade in accordance with the COVID-19 disease prevention and control guidelines.

The Mayor then distributed masks to the customers in the market for COVID-19 disease prevention and control.

He instructed the cleaning of the market to facilitate the entry and exit of trucks and the removal of rubbish and silt from the drains.

The Mayor and party inspected the installation of 15-tonne Liquid Oxygen Tank in Mingaladon Township Development Office. He also inspected the group to carry out public services in the Township Development Office.

Then, the Mayor and party viewed round placing of asphalt concrete near Pyinmabin Katkyaw Sutaungpyae Pagoda on Yangon-Pyay Road. He also inspected the clean and tidy work around Bayintnaung Road, Hline Township.

The Mayor and party then looked into greening tasks on Tezadipa Island on the lake circular road in Mingala Taungnyunt Township, bicycle parking near the entrance to Tezadipa Island Park, clearing the bridge, the daily cleaning of the dirt on the bridge and the demolition of the old wooden bridge. The bridge was planned to be rebuilt within the set time.
