THE Ministry of Commerce is overseeing the importation of essential medical supplies including anti-COVID-19 devices that are critical to the COVID-19 prevention, control and treatment activities, through border trade points, international airports and seaports.Yesterday, six tonnes of masks were imported via the Chinshwehaw trade zone by a company.
It is reported that anti-COVID-19 medical supplies and equipment are being given priority in accordance with the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) coordinated with the relevant departments, and notice related to the import of medicines and related products have also been made available on the Ministry’s website, commerce.gov.mm.
