THE Anti-Narcotics Task Force seized 44,800 methamphetamines in a motorcycle driven by Than Tun (aka) Ko Thu and Ma Hlaing Maw (aka) Ma Hlaing on the Mandalay-PyinOoLwin road in Patheingyi Township on 26 January.

Moreover, the police arrested Thiha Zaw (aka) Phoe Pyae together with 1,100 stimulant tablets and his motorcycle in Thedaw Myoma No (3) Ward in Wundwin Township in the same afternoon.

They then inspected the motorcycle driven by Nay Lin Oo (aka) Shwe Taung and Ko Lin (aka) Nga Kywat on Mandalay-Yangon Highway near Ywar Shay Village in Phaya Phyu Village-tract of Wundwin Township and seized 700 tablets.

Similarly, the anti-narcotic agents seized 4,000 stimulant tablets in a motorcycle driven by Ahgar and Lipa near Wungpon Village of Monghsat Township on the same day.

They then raided the house of Kyar Phu in Boyar Village of Mongtun (Taungpaw) Village-tract and found 13,600 tablets.

The Mon State police force seized 1,950 tablets in a motorcycle driven by Phyo Zaw Aung and Ma Yin Yin Htike near Muyaung village of Mawlamyine Township on 25 January.

The suspects were taken actions under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law.
