DUE to the brutal assault of terrorist groups NUG and CRPH and their subordinate PDF terrorists, one monk and his father died in Ywagon Village of Myaing Township in the Magway Region.

At about 7 pm on 7 January, Sayadaw U Khemasara and his father U Hla Pyu were shot to death at Maha Nandi Magyee Monastery by the PDF terrorists.

Security forces conduct security measures to arrest PDF terrorists who brutally killed the monk and his father. The entire people are urged to work with officials to prevent such a murder against monks.
