TERRORISTS made explosion activities by using bombs, hand grenades, and landmines on education offices, departments and schools in Yadanabummi East Ward, Maha Aungmye Township, Mandalay Region at around 10:30 am on 7 January.

An explosion occurred and some equipment was damaged as two male terrorists on a motorcycle fired grenades in front of a village BEPS on 36th Street.

After the explosion, U Aung Thu (32 years old) got an injury near his eyes, abdomen and left hand.

Security forces inspected the scene in detail and found an improvised explosive device (IED) made from a pot and a hand grenade made of PVC pipe was found and confiscated.

Security forces are investigating to take effective action against the perpetrators of the violence.
