UNION Minister for Investment and Foreign Economic Relations, U Aung Naing Oo inspected investment activities of Myanmar Belle Shin-Shin Foods Co. Ltd., a joint venture of foreign investment in dried vegetables and export to Japan, running with the permission of the Myanmar Investment Commission in Heho Township, Shan State (South) yesterday morning.

During the inspection, company officials briefed the operation of the company and explained the difficulties encountered and the plans for the future.

The Union minister called for the promotion of domestic production and discussions were held on expanding cooperation with crop farmers to increase exports, and necessary coordination was made regarding the current difficulties in the business.

Next, the Union minister visited Top Ten Star Production Co., Ltd., running with the permission of Myanmar Investment Commission, in Bawsai Village-Tract, Kalaw Township and the company’s officials reported on the operation and difficulties of the plant.

Afterwards, the Union minister discussed the situation of further assistance and toured the mining industry and the refinery.
