PLEASE accept greetings on the occasion of the national day of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar –Independence Day.

 

Russia-Myanmar relations are characterized by traditional friendship and mutual respect. We look forward to strengthening interaction between the ministries of foreign affairs of both countries, deepening coordination in international and regional fora. I am convinced that further promoting multifaceted cooperation meets the interests of peoples of our countries, contributes to maintaining peace and security in the Asia-Pacific Region.

Mr Prak Sokhonn, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Cambodia sends congratulatory message to Union Minister for Foreign Affairs

 

ON behalf of the people of Cambodia, I would like to convey my felicitations and best wishes to Your Excellency and the people of Myanmar on the joyous occasion of the 74th Independence Day of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar.

 

I am pleased with Your Excellency recent working visit to Cambodia as it is contributed to the building of mutual trust and friendship between the two countries.

 

I would like to reaffirm Cambodia’s commitment to continue working closely with Myanmar and other fellow ASEAN Member States to uphold our fundamental principles and assist Myanmar in returning to normalcy, thereby safeguarding regional peace, stability and prosperity.

Mr Nikola Selaković, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia sends congratulatory message to Union Minister for Foreign Affairs

 

ON the occasion of the Independence Day of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, I extend to you, on behalf of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia and my own behalf, cordial felicitations and best wishes for the overall progress of your country and its people.

 

I am convinced that the traditionally friendly relations between the Republic of Serbia and the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, established back in the founding days of the Non-Aligned Movement, constitute a stable basis for further advancement of cooperation in many areas of common interest, to the benefit of our two peoples.

 

In that context, I would like to underline the importance and to once again express my gratitude for the participation of Myanmar and you personally at the High-Level Commemorative Meeting to mark the 60th anniversary of the Non-Aligned Movement, held in Belgrade on 11 and 12 October 2021.

 

I take this opportunity as well to express my deep gratitude for the consistent and principled support of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar to the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Republic of Serbia, which I hope will continue in the future.
