IN addition to armed attacks, bombing of roads and bridges, CRPH, NUG and PDF terrorists have been committing arson attacks on residential homes in some areas to disrupt the stability, peace and rule of law in the country.

On 1 January at around 7:30 pm, terrorists set fire to houses in No 1 ward, Thantlang, Chin State, destroying 10 houses and a hospital ward (estimated value 22.5 million kyats).

Similarly, due to the arson attacks on houses on 8 December and 24 November in No 1 ward, and houses near the football stadium and some inflammable materials, 113 houses, 3 churches, and a pharmacy were destroyed by fire.

As NUG, CRPH and PDF terrorist groups are committing acts of terrorism in Chin State and some parts of Sagaing Region,

which are difficult to access by road, and propagandizing the country’s instability through social media, security forces are continuing to provide the necessary security measures to maintain peace, stability and the rule of law in the region, according to MPF.
