MYANMAR’S COVID-19 positive cases rose to 530,276 after 276 new cases were reported on 29 December 2021 according to the Ministry of Health. Among these confirmed cases, 507,806 have been discharged from hospitals. Death toll reached 19,262 after 2 died.

COVID-19 vaccine is being injected to those of priority groups in regions and states for prevention and control of the disease. Up to 28-12-2021, a total of 20,617,815 people have been vaccinated. Of them, 15,062,251 people have been vaccinated two times and 5,555,564people once.
