LED by Union Minister U Kyaw Tin of the Ministry of International Cooperation, officials from the foreign embassies in Myanmar and their families flew to Myeik from Dawei yesterday.
The diplomats and families toured the Myeik River by in a launch, and studied the surroundings of Pa Htaw Pa Htet Island. They also visited the Atu Lan Thi Shwe Thar Lyaung Pagoda on Pa Htet Island, and studied soft shell crab farming of Phae Phyo Tun Company.
In the afternoon, the diplo-mats visited Laykyun Si Mi Pagoda, natural bird nest house and Myeik Shopping Centre in Myeik Town.
In the evening, Union Minister U Kyaw Tin and his wife hosted a dinner for the diplomats and families at the Myeik Cooperation Public Co., Ltd.
