THE Myanmar Trade Promotion Organization under the Ministry of Commerce encouraged the exporters to register with the General Administration of Customs of the People’s Republic of China as the goods from the registered businesses will be allowed only for import to China starting from 1 January 2022, according to the notifications 248 and 249 of the GACC.
The competent authorities are helping the exporting companies, organization and individuals register with GACC. The registration must be done by 31 December 2021 and it is obligatory.
As a result of this, the ministry notified Myanmar exporters of the lists of the contact of the related departments to carry out the registration process, along with the lists of the goods.
Those individuals executing edible oil, oilseeds, stuffed pastry products, edible grains, grains milling industrial products and malt, fresh and dehydrated vegetables, dried beans, plant species, nuts and seeds, dried fruits, unroasted coffee and cocoa bean, special dietary food excluding milk-based formula, functional foods, bee products, aquatic products including farm products, animal products and animal feed and livestock animals businesses need to apply for GACC license before the 2021-end in order to place their goods in China’s market.
