FOREIGN embassies’ officials and their family members led by Union Minister U Kyaw Tin of the Ministry of International Cooperation went on a diplomatic tour from 8 to 10 February to see the natural sceneries, cultural entities, and development progress in Dawei city, Myeik Archipelago and their vicinities of the Taninthayi Region.

The diplomatic delegation left Yangon for Dawei by Myanmar Airways yesterday morning. Responsible personnel of the Taninthayi Region greeted them at Dawei airport.

In the afternoon, the diplomatic delegation took a study tour of the Dawei special economic zones, the Maungmakan Beach and its neighbouring villages. The Chief Minister of Taninthayi Region hosted a dinner for the diplomatic delegation.
