AS the State-declared NUG and CRPH terrorist groups proclaimed December 10 a “Silent Strike Day” through various online statements, threatening the public not to go out, there was little movement of people with closing shops and students not attending schools in some cities and townships in Myanmar.

The majority of people said that the movement was not considered to be a silent protest against the current government,as the terrorists wanted, but to consider the movement because of the danger of being forcibly accused of being “Dalan” (traitor) and the danger of aggression of armed terrorists.

However, markets and schools across the country were seen open almost as regularly, and COVID-19 vaccination was continued as follows. (See photos)
