MYANMAR Police Force seized narcotic drugs worth over K300 million in PyinOoLwin, Mandalay Region.

A combined team comprising members of security forces searched a vehicle from Muse to Mandalay driven by Win Naing, 49,at the access of bypass road in PyinOoLwin Township, Mandalay Region on 1 December, and seized 2.31 kilogrammes of heroin and over 160,000 stimulant tablets worth K300 millions. After the investigating, the narcotic drugs were transported from Shan State (North) to Myitkyina of Kachin State.

Police have filed charges against suspects under the narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances law and anti-narcotic drug laws. Police Force has investigated the case to arrest suspects in connection with the case, Myanmar Police Force said.
