UNION Minister for Health Dr Thet Khaing Win held a talk with a delegation led by Chairman of the Nippon Foundation Mr Yohei Sasakawa at meeting hall of the Ministry of Health yesterday.

During  the  meeting,  they  discussed  provision  of  human-itarian  assistance  to  Myanmar  for  COVID-19  prevention  and  control processes by the Nippon Foundation, necessary drugs and medical supplies required by Ministry of Health and donation for construction of clinics and hospital, conditions for Japan to donate COVID-19 vaccine to Myanmar, and issues that can be done to improve Japan-Myanmar relations.

They also  discussed  the  possibility  of  rebuilding  and  upgrading the hospital with the help of Japan.
