MILITARY hospitals in various areas of the military commands is setting up Covid centres to provide healthcare services to COVID-19 confirmed patients, according to the Tatmadaw.
Preparations are underway at local training schools, military accommodation camps, and healthcare services are being provided at the completed sites.
In addition, quarantine centres are being prepared in the relevant townships in collaboration with responsible officials from the Ministry of Health and other departments, and charitable organizations.
As of 7 pm yesterday, 84 men and 77 women who were tested positive for COVID-19 were quarantined at Nay Pyi Taw Transit Centre.
Local medical teams and officials at the respective military bases are providing healthcare services and accommodation for the COVID-19 confirmed patients, Tatmadaw stated.
In addition, Deputy Commander of the Western Command Brigadier-General Aung Kyaw Min and officials yesterday visited the COVID-19 centres in An Township and coordinated necessary works.
