THE  Sagaing  Region  government arranged the vaccination programme  for  the  students  aged  12  and  above  at  the  respective vaccination sites from 22 to 24 October, and 4,221 stu-dents received their first doses of  vaccines,  according  to  the  township public health department.

Township  administration  body  chairman  U  Phone  Htet  Naing Myint, medical superin-tendent of 100-bed hospital Dr Nay  Moe,  township  education  officer  U  Myo  Win  and  other  officials inspected the vaccina-tion  processes  and  the  health  workers, education staff, police and fire brigade members contributed to the programmes.

There  are  6,688  students  aged over 12 at basic education schools  at  different  levels  in  Kanbalu  Township  and  4,221  students came to receive their vaccine till yesterday. The officials also make arrangements to vaccinate the remaining students including the ones from private  schools  and  monastic  education schools.
