MYANMAR businesspersons have been invited to participate in the “World Rice Noodle Expo 2021-Liuzhou, according to the Myanmar Food Processors and Exporters Association.

The World Rice Noodle Expo in 2021, one of the specialty exhibitions of China-ASEAN expo, will be launched in Liuzhou International Convention and Exhibition Centre, in the People’s Republic of China, from 5 to 7 November.

The Liuzhou where the exhibition will be held is a city that produces a lot of rice noodles using lower quality rice.

It aimed to further promote the traditional Chinese food culture, dock with the world rice noodle industry, build an international exchange platform for rice noodle industry, and introduce Chinese rice noodles to the world.

Efforts are being made to expand the “Liuzhou River Snails Rice Noodle”, one of the street foods of Liuzhou, to the world market as a significant local product. Therefore, the large volume of lower quality rice may need to produce rice noodle. If Myanmar can produce and export the rice noodle (dry) that highly demanded from Liuzhou, it will be able to export as a brand new export products to China. It has also the benefit of being marketed as a side dish, such as peanuts used in river snail noodles. Consequently, it is an exhibition that Myanmar’s agricultural productions and exports businesses should participate to display.

Besides, China offered to hold business talk thought video calls before and during the exhibition to buy the agricultural products from Asian countries.
