PILGRIMS paid homage to Pyidawaye Pagoda in Kawthoung, Taninthayi Region on fullmoon of Thadingyut (Abhidhamma Day).

Local people donated oil lamps on the oil lamp tray structures around the precinct of the Pyidawaye Pagoda and donated alms, water, scented candles and flowers to the Buddha images of the pagoda.

People also visited food, clothe and toy shops at the pagoda market after making worship at the pagoda.

The board of trustees of the pagoda delivered masks to the pilgrims who enter it accordingly to the directives issued by the Ministry of Health.
