DEPUTY Minister for In­formation U Ye Tint met the members of Thandwe Dis­trict management and town­ship management bodies at Thandwe airport on 15 Octo­ber and instructed to cooper­ate with the ministry’s staff in conducting mediasecotrs and education programmes for the public.

Then, he visited the IPRD office of Ngapali Township and met the township administra­tion officials.

He also inspected the MRTV retransmission sta­tion of Thandwe  township and stressed the needs regarding with the security affairs, main­tenance works and broadcast­ing sectors.

He met the Thandwe Dis­trict and Ngapali Township heads and staff, in charge and employees of retransmission main­station at community centre of Thandwe District and instruct­ed the necessary things. Gwa and Kyeintali townships heads and department employees of Kyaukpyu and Manaung joined the meeting online.

He also inspected the con­struction of Thandwe Township community centre and high­lighted the necessary things. 

Moreover, the Deputy Min­ister met the Taungup town­ship administrator, township police head and staff of IPRD including retransmission sta­tion at Taungup township of­fice yesterday morning and also received the IPRD staff of Maei Township, township ad­ministrators of An and Yanbye townships and staff of Lamu and Painnetaung retransmis­sion stations. 

During the visits, the Dep­uty Minister talked about the significant decline of COVID-19 infection rate, public partici­pating in fight against riots, preparations to serve the infor­mation duties, plans to provide the true news despite the fake news of terrorists, cooperation work in conducting vaccination programmes for the reopening of schools, Pan Khinn projects, peace, security and region de­velopment programmes of the government and right concepts.
