DEPUTY Minister for Information U Ye Tint met the members of Thandwe District management and township management bodies at Thandwe airport on 15 October and instructed to cooperate with the ministry’s staff in conducting mediasecotrs and education programmes for the public.
Then, he visited the IPRD office of Ngapali Township and met the township administration officials.
He also inspected the MRTV retransmission station of Thandwe township and stressed the needs regarding with the security affairs, maintenance works and broadcasting sectors.
He met the Thandwe District and Ngapali Township heads and staff, in charge and employees of retransmission mainstation at community centre of Thandwe District and instructed the necessary things. Gwa and Kyeintali townships heads and department employees of Kyaukpyu and Manaung joined the meeting online.
He also inspected the construction of Thandwe Township community centre and highlighted the necessary things.
Moreover, the Deputy Minister met the Taungup township administrator, township police head and staff of IPRD including retransmission station at Taungup township office yesterday morning and also received the IPRD staff of Maei Township, township administrators of An and Yanbye townships and staff of Lamu and Painnetaung retransmission stations.
During the visits, the Deputy Minister talked about the significant decline of COVID-19 infection rate, public participating in fight against riots, preparations to serve the information duties, plans to provide the true news despite the fake news of terrorists, cooperation work in conducting vaccination programmes for the reopening of schools, Pan Khinn projects, peace, security and region development programmes of the government and right concepts.
