CLOSING ceremony of the Training Course for Deputy Chief of Mission (CfDCM) 2/2021 took place at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday at 2 pm. On the occasion, U Ko Ko Hlaing, Union Minister for International Cooperation delivered closing remarks through virtual platform.

The four-week intensive training course was conducted at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from 21 June to 9 July 2021 in the first phase and from 11 October to 15 October 2021 in the final phase. It was attended by 26 high-ranking officers and other officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of International Cooperation. A number of eminent persons, such as Union Minister for Foreign Affairs U Wunna Maung Lwin, Union Minister for International Cooperation U Ko Ko Hlaing, National Solidarity and Peace Negotiation Committee (NSPNC) Secretary Lt-Gen Min Naung, Deputy Minister for Planning and Finance U Maung Maung Win, Deputy Minister for Investment and Foreign Economic Relations U Than Aung Kyaw and senior officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of International Cooperation, Ministry of Planning and Finance, Ministry of Information, Ministry of Commerce, Ministry of Labour, Ministry of Immigration and Population, Anti-Corruption Commission, Office of the Auditor-General of the Union, and Union Attorney-General’s Office, gave valuable lectures to the training participants.

Among those who attended the closing ceremony were Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs U Kyaw Myo Htut, Deputy Minister for Investment and Foreign Economic Relations U Than Aung Kyaw, invited guests, Directors-General and participants and responsible persons from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of International Cooperation.
