THE Annual Report Writing Group of the National Committee on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities held its fifth coordination meeting yesterday afternoon in the meeting hall of the Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief, and Resettlement in Nay Pyi Taw.
Deputy Minister for the Ministry of Information U Aung Hla Tun, in his capacity as Group Chair, said: “This is the fifth meeting and some basic points relating to the annual report were approved after a round of discussions in the previous meetings. Moreover, a work programme was coordinated and allocated to collect, edit and print the drafts from the ministries and organizations concerned. After reviewing a collection of the drafts, discussions will be made to release a highly qualified report in time.”
Next, Deputy Director-General of Resettlement Department Dr. Tun Zaw briefed on completion of works decided in the fourth meeting and Shwe Minthar Foundation Chairman U Myat Thu Win explained their work on the department-wise drafts from the respective ministries.
A round of discussion was then followed by the meeting of participants.
Then, Deputy Minister U Aung Hla Tun concluded the meeting which was attended by deputy directors-general, directors and officials concerned.
