HEALTHCARE officials gave the second dose of COVID-19 vaccines to IDPs in Yathedaung Township, Rakhine State, from 9 am to 4 pm starting from 7 October.

 U Naing Lin Htet, chairman of the township COVID-19 Control and Emergency Response Committee, and members of the committee gave a speech in support of the COVID-19 vaccination.

 Before the vaccination, healthcare staff and officials made records for the vaccinated people.

Next officials measured the body temperature, blood pressure and monitoring oxygen level before the vaccination.

The COVID-19 vaccines were given to 1,526 local people over the age of 45 who were taking shelters in IDP camps at five designated areas in Yathedaung Township and the rest are still being vaccinated, officials said.
