THE  National  Solidarity  and  Peace  Negotiation  Committee  (NSPC) held a meeting with political  parties  yesterday  morning in Nay Pyi Taw.

 

The meeting was attended by  NSPC  Chairperson  Union  Minister  for  Union  Government  Office  Lt-Gen  Yar  Pyae  and  committee  members,  the  chairpersons and vice-chairper-sons of 18 political parties and officials. At the meeting, Union Minister Lt-Gen Yar Pyae and Chairman  of  the  Democratic  Party  (Myanmar)  U  Thu  Wai  on  behalf  of  the  political  parties  addressed  the  meeting.  Afterwards,  Secretary  of  the  Committee Lt-Gen Min Naung and Committee Member Lt-Gen Win  Bo  Shein  explained  the  peace process and the current peace activities, and attendees discussed  peace  and  electoral  procedures.

 

Lisu National Development Party Chairperson U Shwe Min on  behalf  of  the  political  parties and National Solidarity and Peace  Negotiation  Committee  (NSPC)  Chairperson  Lt-Gen  Yar  Pyae  concluded  the  meet-ing.
