MYANMAR’S COVID-19 positive cases rose to 473,025 after 1,717 new cases were reported on 6October 2021 according to the Ministry of Health. Among these confirmed cases, 426,739 have been discharged from hospitals. Death toll reached 17,998 after 41 died.

COVID-19 vaccine is being injected to those of priority groups in regions and states for prevention and control of the disease. Up to 5 October 2021, a total of 8, 686,913 people have been vaccinated. Of them, 3,949,307 people have been vaccinated two times and 4,737,606 people once.
