1. The Central Hospitals, General Hospitals and COVID-19 treatment centres under the Department of Medical Services have a high demand of nurses and midwives. Those who meet the job requirements can apply for these positions under the contract system.
2. The applicants: -
(a) Must be a Citizen of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar;
(b) Must have Bachelor of Science in Nursing or Diploma in Nursing or Diploma in Obstetrics or certificate of (18) months midwifery courses;
(c) Must be holders of nurse (or) midwife licences;
(d) Must not be over 50 years of age on the closing date of applications;
(e) Must not have any criminal record;
(f) The contract term will be six months, and the applicants must serve the duties as per the terms and conditions of the contract.
3. Submission of applications: -
(a) Completed applications along with necessary documents must be sent to the Director-General, No (4) Office of the Department of Medical Services, Nay Pyi Taw no later than 4 pm on 13-8-2021.
(b) The attached documents with the applications: -
(1) Degree/Diploma/Graduation Certificate (copy);
(2) Nurse, midwife licence (copy);
(3) NRC (1 copy);
(4) Criminal clearance letter of Police Force (original);
(5) Health recommendation letters of respective township health officers (original);
(6) 1 photo taken within the last six months;
(7) The names of former public hospitals/ private hospitals/clinics and duration of services must be filled in the prescribed CV or separately.
(8) Must mention the priority hospital/departments like 1st, 2nd, and 3rd.
4. Nurse’s regular salary is (regular salary – K198,000) and food expense K20,000+ uniform K2,000.
5. If applicants complete the midwifery diploma course, they will be appointed at (regular salary -180,000) and food expense K20,000+ K2,000 for uniform.
6. The applicants will be informed individually for a personal interview.
7. For those who work under a contract system want to serve as government employees, the contract period will be changed into a “probation period” under the Civil Service Personnel Law and Rules to achieve the benefits of civil services.
8. They will be praised like other permanent health workers.
