The Tatmadaw True News Team organized a press conference at the Defence Services Museum in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday morning.


It was attended by Chairman of Tatmadaw True News Team Maj-Gen Soe Naing Oo, Vice Chairman Maj-Gen Tun Tun Nyi, Secretary Brig-Gen Zaw Min Tun and senior military officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief (Army).


Media personnel from local news agencies, daily newspapers, journals, local TV news agencies and locally-based foreign news agencies were also present at the press.


The Chairman of Tatmadaw True News Team explained participations of the Tatmadaw in peace-making process in 2019 and 2020 and confiscation of narcotic drugs in previous year.


Vice Chairman Maj-Gen Tun Tun Nyi clarified activities of the Tatmadaw to promote international relations of the Tatmadaw, official friendly visits of the Commander in Chief of Defence Services to foreign countries, receiving international delegations, and meetings with peace organizations, ethnic armed organizations, religious organizations, UN agencies, NGOs and INGOs.


The Tatmadaw True News Team replied to queries raised by reporters from news agencies, and Deputy Judge Advocate General Maj-Gen Thaung Naing from the Office of Judge Advocate General under the Commander in Chief of Defence Services (Army) explained the issues of ICC, ICJ, ICOE report and court martial cases, according to the report of Office of the Commander-in -Chief of Defence Services.
