GOVERNMENT representatives yesterday held a videoconference with experts from peace process stakeholders to discuss matters related to the implementation of the agreements in Part III of the Union Accord and peace processes.
They discussed the issues from 10 am to 4:30 pm yesterday.
During the meeting, Director-General of the State Counsellor Office U Zaw Htay explained plans to implement the agreements in Part III of the Union Accord and ongoing peace processes.
Stakeholders discussed issues that need to be addressed in Myanmar’s peace process, and representatives from the government and the Peace Commission made additional discussions on the peace process.
The virtual meeting was participated by Secretary of Peace Commission Retired Lt-Gen Khin Zaw Oo, Hluttaw Representative U Pyone Cho, members of Advisory Body from Peace Commission U Hla Maung Shwe and U Moe Zaw Oo and Director-General of Ministry of State Counsellor Office U Zaw Htay.
