A ceremony to honour and welcome back Tatmadaw members who returned from frontline duties after conducting security operations to ensure national stability and regional peace was held at a local battalion in Monghsat Township, Shan State (East), yesterday evening.

The event was attended by Triangle Region Command Commander Maj-Gen Soe Myat Htut, officials, departmental personnel, Myanmar Police Force members, war veterans, local militia members and residents.

The returning troops were honoured for performing security duties in frontline areas away from their families, ensuring public safety, stability and peace across various regions and states. The commander and attendees welcomed them back with traditional offerings and ethnic cultural performances.

The commander also delivered a congratulatory speech and presented cash awards to the returning personnel.
