Pyithu Hluttaw Speaker U Khin Yi received a donation of 450 copies of books yesterday afternoon at the Pyithu Hluttaw Guest Hall, contributed by Pyithu Hluttaw Representative U Thet Naing Oo for the study and reading reference of parliamentarians and staff.

The donated book, titled The Only Map to Myanmar’s Way Out, was written under the pen name Thet Naing Oo (Kyi Kar) and won the 2022 National Literature Award for political genre. The Speaker accepted the books, expressed his gratitude, and presented a certificate of honour in return.

The book donation ceremony saw Pyithu Hluttaw Deputy Speaker U Maung Maung Ohn and officials from the Pyithu Hluttaw Office.
