Mr Ajit Doval, National Security Adviser (NSA) of India, paid a courtesy call on President of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar U Min Aung Hlaing, currently in New Delhi, India, on an official visit, on the afternoon of 31 May.
At the meeting, they frankly exchanged views on the promotion of friendly ties and cooperation between the two countries, the security, peace and stability in border region, and measures to further promote multi-sector cooperation between Myanmar and India.
Also, present at the meeting were Union Ministers U Khin Maung Yi and U Tin Maung Swe, and officials. The National Security Adviser (NSA) of India was accompanied by Ambassador of India to Myanmar Shri Abhay Thakur and officials. — MNA/TTA
