Myanma Railways is expanding its train services to facilitate travel for the public and to provide convenience for freight operators. Starting from 15 May, two RBE train services will be operated daily on the Nay Pyi Taw-Toungoo and Toungoo-Nay Pyi Taw sections, as well as on the Toungoo-Bago and Bago-Toungoo sections.
As a result of this expansion, train services are being operated daily on the Nay Pyi Taw-Toungoo and Toungoo-Nay Pyi Taw sections. The RBE Down train departs from Nay Pyi Taw Station at 6 am and arrives at Toungoo Station at 8:25 am. The RBE Up train departs from Toungoo Station at 2 pm and arrives at Nay Pyi Taw Station at 4:25 pm.
Similar train services are being operated daily on the Toungoo-Bago and Bago-Toungoo sections. Two RBE Down trains depart from Toungoo Station at 6 am and arrive at Bago Station at 10:15 am. The two RBE Up trains depart from Bago Station at 2:15 pm and arrive at Toungoo Station at 6:30 pm.
The train fare for the Toungoo-Nay Pyi Taw journey is K2,500 from Toungoo Station to Myohla Station, and K5,000 beyond Myohla Station. For the Toungoo-Bago journey, the fare is K4,000 from Toungoo Station to Kyaukdaga Station, and K8,000 beyond Kyaukdaga Station.
