The first regular session of the Third Region and State Hluttaws continued at the respective Hluttaw buildings yesterday.

The Kachin State Hluttaw approved seven state ministries, seven ministers and three judges of the State High Court. The Kachin State Hluttaw approved the appointment of U Khet Htein Nan from the Myitkyina Township Constituency 1 of the State Hluttaw as Kachin State Chief Minister.

At the Kayah State Hluttaw, all Hluttaw representatives approved the number of state ministries and ministers, and the number of judges at the State High Court as proposed by the President-Elect.

At yesterday’s Kayin State Hluttaw session, all State Hluttaw representatives approved the proposal sent by the President-Elect to appoint U Saw Myint Oo from the Hpa-an Township Constituency 1 in the Kayin State Hluttaw as the Kayin State Chief Minister. They also approved the proposal on seven state ministries and seven ministers sent by the President-elect, and another proposal on the appointment of three judges at the Kayin State High Court.

Likewise, the Sagaing Region Hluttaw approved the proposal on seven regional ministries, seven ministers and three judges of the regional high court sent by the President-Elect, in addition to the appointment of U Ko Lay from the Shwebo Township Constituency 2 of the Sagaing Region Hluttaw as the Chief Minister of Sagaing Region.

The Taninthayi Region Hluttaw approved U Zaw Naing Oo from the Myeik Township Constituency 2 of the Taninthayi Region Hluttaw, nominated by the President-Elect as the Regional Chief Minister. Moreover, the Hluttaw approved eight regional ministries, eight ministers and three judges of the regional high court.

The Mon State Hluttaw approved U Aung Win Than, nominated by the President-Elect as Mon State Chief Minister. The Hluttaw also approved the number of ministries, ministers and judges.

The Rakhine State Hluttaw representatives agreed on U Naing Oo from the Sittway Township Constituency 1 of the Rakhine State Hluttaw as Chief Minister of Rakhine State. They also approved several state ministries, ministers and judges of the state high court.

At the Yangon Region Hluttaw, Hluttaw representative U Aung Naing Thu, nominated by the President-Elect, was approved as Yangon Region Chief Minister, and the regional Hluttaw approved 10 regional ministries, 10 ministers and six judges of the high court.

The Shan State Hluttaw approved Sai Htein Soe from the Yaksawk Township Constituency 2 of the Shan State Hluttaw, nominated by the President-Elect as Shan State Chief Minister. The Hluttaw also approved the appointment of four judges of the state high court.

The Ayeyawady Region Hluttaw approved U Aye Kyaw from the Pathein Township Constituency 1 of the regional Hluttaw as Ayeyawady Region Chief Minister. Moreover, the Hluttaw approved the proposal sent by the President-Elect to set nine regional ministries, nine ministers and four judges of the regional high court.
