The opening ceremony of the 31st Myanmar Military Medical Conference took place at the stadium of the No 2 Tatmadaw Hospital (700-bed) in Aungban, Shan State (South), yesterday.
Shan State Chief Minister U Aung Aung, Adjutant-General from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief (Army) Lt-Gen Zaw Hein, Eastern Command Commander Brig-Gen Kyaw Naing Oo, Director of the Medical Services Maj-Gen Ko Ko Lwin, medical corps, officials of the Ministry of Health, Tatmadaw and civilian international medical experts and invitees attended the conference.
The Shan State chief minister, the adjutant-general and relevant officials cut the ceremonial ribbon to inaugurate the event and had a documentary photo taken together with attendees.
At the event, the adjutant-general made the speech. The director of the Medical Services presented gifts to the Shan State chief minister and the adjutant-general, marking the 31st Myanmar Military Medical Conference.
They cordially greeted the attendees and observed the research posters and medical supplies.
