Sment of assigned missions. tate Security and Peace Commission Vice-Chairman, Defence Services Deputy Commander-in-Chief, and Commander-in-Chief (Army) Vice-Senior General Soe Win yesterday morning met trainees of infantry commanding officer, company commander and platoon commander courses and cadets in Bahtoo station at Aung San Hall of the Tatmadaw (Army) Combat Forces Training School.
In his speech, the Vice-Senior General emphasized enhancement of combat power and combat capability of all Tatmadaw members, conducting training courses for cadets, platoon commanders, company commander and commanding officers at military training schools for all Tatmadaw members to improve their combat power and capability, urging trainees to study and practise, and applying military tactics on the battlefield.
He also highlighted needs to take lessons from the military tactics of enemies and conduct counterattack operations, efforts to improve individual capability to be able to raise the team’s capability, individual intense training to have combat capability to be applied in the battle fields, and the situation to harmonize combat capability and power to achieve success.
The Vice-Senior General underlined taking physical exercises daily for healthy working in order to serve assigned duties and overcome various challenges, applying military technology in accord with the motto: Study, Practise and Comply, and needs to cultivate courage and bravery through health and fitness and skilfulness in military tactics.
Moreover, he explained that the military discipline and obedience to order are the lifeblood of Tatmadaw members. Hence, he urged all to strictly follow military disciplines and orders to accomplish the assigned missions. Depending on activities of following the military disciplines, competence, and behaviours can help win the trust and reliance of subordinates. Hence, all trainees need to thoroughly understand the 16 characteristics of leadership. As all Tatmadaw members take the four-point oath and are faithful to the State and the people, they all need to diligently serve the assigned duties and orders round the clock by applying the military tactics obtained from the training courses.
The Vice-Senior General also clarified holding the multiparty democratic general election 2025 in three phases, preparations by the government and regions and states to convene the Hluttaw sessions in the near future.
Also, present at the meeting were senior Tatmadaw officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief, the commander of Eastern Command, officer instructors, trainees and officials.
